Application of ultrasonic reactor using the principle of ultrasonication process to increase the chemical reaction speed of the vergetable oils and animal fats into biodiesel. This method can improve the efficiency and reduce the operational costs. Also, the ultrasonic in-line reactor can change the production from batch processing to continuous flow processing and achieve a biodiesel yield over 97%.

Ultrasonication can also reduce the seperation time from 5 to 10 hours into 1 hour or less. The amount of catalyst and alcohol are reduced to 15 ~35% due to increase the chemical activity during at cavitation process. The resulted byproduct of glycerin can be increased in purity.

The ultrasonic in-line reactor can be scaled up to any power and size of for different production capacity and application such as 1) Bio-Diesel production, 2) Homogenization of liquids or liquid suspensions, 3) Emulsification of processing foods, pharmaceuticals,     and cosmetics, 4) Dissolving solids in solvents, 5) Sonochemistry and others.
