The in-line ultrasonic reactor can be scaled up to any power and size of for different production capacity. Each reactor can be connected in series to achieve the designated power.

Ultrasonication increase the chemical reaction speed of the vergetable oils and animal fats into biodiesel. This method can improve the efficiency and reduce the operational costs. Also, in-line ultrasonic reactor can change the production from batch processing to continuous flow processing and achieve a biodiesel yield over 97%.

Ultrasonication can also reduce the seperation time from 5 to 10 hours into 1 hour or less. The amount of catalyst and alcohol are reduced to 15 ~35% due to increase the chemical activity during at cavitation process. The resulted byproduct of glycerin can be increased in purity.
